Charles Steven’s have just managed our mother’s funeral, and the care, empathy and attention to detail has been faultless. Mark saw to every detail and was able to meet any requests we made, and on the day Tom and his team were so kind and compassionate on what was very difficult time. Sadly we lost my father in law in December, so we contacted Charles Stephen’s rock ferry as my father in law chose them in his funeral pre paid plan. Nothing was too much as they took over everything, we had 1st class service from all at Charles Stephen’s, they were there at the end of the phone or an email at all times.Richard B. was our funeral director he explained everything, he was there for all our questions and advice needed. The day of the funeral it all run smoothly , the cars are beautiful, the service was outstanding, as I said before 1st class service. Thank you to all the staff at Charles Stephens for the professional and caring way you organised the funeral of my mother Sally Rawsthorne in October 2025.
Everything regarding it went smoothly and efficiently. Richard was always available to help or advise with the arrangement whilst remaining very supportive at this difficult time. All the staff we met were courteous, respectful and polite and gave us a very personal service.

Both my parents were looked after so well at Charles Stephen’s Bromborough office. My Mum in 2020 and Dad just recently in November 2025. Anna at the Bromborough branch was wonderful. From our first meeting, to making all the arrangements we required. She is friendly, courteous and respectful. On the day Rachael and the team were so professional. Again they were courteous and respectful. Carol Mitchell our Celebrant was equally wonderful. She came to our home in Liverpool and did a lovely job of taking our description of Dad and giving a beautiful Eulogy of him. Everything went so smoothly for which we are extremely grateful. I cannot thank the team enough for making a sad day into a fitting celebration of Dads life.

Thank you for everything that you did to care for my wife and indeed myself and my family. From the start we were treated with compassion and respect in a calm, professional and efficient manner. At no point did we feel rushed to make decisions and we always felt supported.

The day of the service could not have gone any better; that is so important. The staff were punctual, respectful efficient and caring. We did not feel at all rushed and we felt from the start that they knew exactly what they were doing. They were never invasive but always there to guide us.

The team at Charles Stephens provided an exceptional level of care from start to finish. Their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the service, and both Richard and Anna were incredibly sensitive, supportive, and professional throughout. We used them for Dads funeral over 30 years ago and now for Mums and it could not have been better.

The cars were immaculate, the staff uniforms were flawless, and the entire team conducted themselves with dignity and respect. Their thoughtful guidance made a difficult time more manageable, and we are truly grateful.

After my Dad had passed away early hours on a Saturday morning, I was in a complete daze and heartbroken. One call to Charles Stephen’s ( even at the weekend ) was all it took to get my Dad looked after . I am so grateful it was Phil who answered the call and led me through the process. Phil was amazing and made me feel comfortable and supportive in a terrible time . The whole outstanding service that my Dad received was flawless they treated him with dignity and respect honouring the tradition values held by my Dad .
The additional touches that were available gave me great comfort. I felt that during this time I had a someone that offered guidance. It really was as simple as one call and Phil navigated the whole process. I will always be Thankful for the way my Dear Dad was looked after .
